• Ambitious: Like every other profession in the creative field, photography is hugely competitive. One must be ambitious enough to showcase their talents in comparison to others.
• Marketing knowledge: In order to get work based on photography, a photographer has to market themselves in the market. The better they portray themselves, the more opportunities they'll get.
• Social presence: We all know for a fact how important social media is today. Having just the talent is not enough these days as one has to be actively involved in several social media platforms to promote their talents.
• Technical: Obviously, to be an expert photographer, one has to possess technical skills to use modern cameras and other equipment.
• Pleasant personality: It's always an added bonus to have a pleasant personality as find you more approachable.
• Possess necessary equipment: For every photographer, amateur or professionals, having a camera is imperative. The kind of camera will depend on the money people are willing to splurge on them.
• Compliance with travelling: Any photographer who is looking to make a name for them should be willing to travel quite frequently. There are so many picturesque landscapes around the globe that one can't just sit back in their home.
