Call me superstitious or whatever, even an idiot at times, but I do know this: God is existence totally and little else. Everything that is not existence, or not totally there in reality is the devil. Now, I know that is a loaded statement, so let me take this article to explain myself. Within the realm of existence, I look at things this way, all energy is God and a part of God, and "the little old Nick" or the devil is just there to keep things interesting. After all, "Star Wars" without the villains and only the heroes would be more boring than most of "2001: A Space Odyssey" before the ship running computer "HAL" goes neurotic or crazy, being the close to conscious computer or conscious computer that "HAL" the computer is and kills and attempts to kill the astronauts.I am saying that without a game, nothing would be interesting or have purpose. Purpose comes from having to win over obstacles or a devil of sorts. Without that purpose, what good would anything be, and what reason would there be for growth? Except for going along like a boring country ride in perfect settings with nothing going on except for fresh air and nothing else interesting and even the scenery becomes uniform after a while on the green earth of God, with great weather also.
In the game of life, there is an obstacle course and the main obstacle is in the mirror. God made it that way, the most interesting and challenging way of all. After all, should not the obstacle be outside of ourselves? After all if God is in every energy particle in reality, why should it not be that way naturally where our main obstacle or enabler to win is in the mirror? Reason has everything to do with that reality really, because, within ourselves is our best friend or worst enemy. We have a choice to make, do we not? A choice to overcome the obstacles or be overcome by the obstacles.
Without obstacles or a devil for God to win against, life and existence would be a bore even for God.
Before I wrote this article, I thought deeply about what would be said here and I know and feel that in order to keep existence interesting and fun, interesting things have to happen like for every Barack Obama, there has to be a John Boehner or if "this" comes up "that" has to oppose it, to keep things interesting. What would life be without "the action" to give us a reason. Nothing much. Without a goal to reach, what would life be if everything were there already for us, and ready? Nothing much. What is everything? It is what we make, because like I said, our best friend or worst enemy is in the mirror. The more creative we are, the better it is for us. God made us in the image and likeness of God? Well, I agree. Start by looking in the mirror, and end by doing what God does anyway. That is how we were designed.
